Here’s your chance for a career out of the ordinary! We are searching for a Payroll Officer!

What you do:

You are Responsible for payroll accounting and for general payroll administration. You ensure all employees are paid in accordance to local laws and regulations and the established Company processing guidelines.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the labor law overview and monitoring the local labor law 

  • Prepares all labor law cases and presents recommendations for decisions to the Head of Legal 

  • Is the contact person towards our external labor law lawyers 

  • Reports the labor law cases and labor law related issues to the Head of Legal 

  • Involves relevant function head (Area manager, HR, Payroll) 

  • Coordination with our payroll outsourcing company 

  • Provide all new hires information to the payroll company 

  • Provide calculations for termination payments 

  • Maintain master data and employee files (electronic or paper) 

  • Communicate employee payroll changes to the payroll company 

  • Communicate additional earnings such as overtime, shift allowances 

  • Provide any salary changes (increase/decreases) and back pay (when applicable) 

  • Verify payroll hours from Time & Attendance system to ensure employees are being paid correctly and forward it to the payroll company 

  • Ensure that the employees’ sick and vacation time is accurate 

  • Check the payment file receiving from the payroll company and ensure month end reporting completed and 
communicated to all necessary parties 

  • Work directly with Accounting Department regarding salary payments, bank reconciliation and journal entries 

  • Staff Card Administration 

  • Dealing with our Incentive Program 

  • General office organization 

  • Assisting in projects directed by the Payroll Manager 

  • Provide outstanding customer service to our internal customers (employees) regarding all payroll questions and concerns 

  • Provide support to the stores regarding payroll matters 

  • Work closely with district / region teams to resolve employee’s pay issues 

  • Contact for all external customers (authorities, auditors) for all issues concerning payroll, fiscal and social 
insurance matters 

  • Communicate any statutory changes to employees that will affect salaries 

  • Communicate changes in benefits and payroll processes to employees and provide training if necessary 


Other Knowledge and skills that will help you to deliver on expectations:

  • Knowledge of English better than mother tongue
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures Attention to detail

  • Ability to interpret and enforce changes in legislative compliance in order to ensure accuracy of Payroll
